Κοιτάζω τις σκιές στους τοίχους
Όταν αποφασίζουν επιτέλους να βγουν απ’ τη φωλιά τους.

Ρούχα μεταξωτά θροΐζουν καθώς τρέχουν προς το φως
Για να προλάβουν την κυριακάτικη βόλτα στην πλατεία του δημαρχείου.

Και πάντα εγώ
Ακολουθώ κρυφά,
Γιατι ήμουν και θα είμαι μια παρείσακτη.

Μια ψεύτικη φιγούρα με σάρκα και οστά ανάμεσά τους,
Δεν θα με έκαναν ποτέ παρέα
Και θα ακουγόμουν βρόμικη στη συντροφιά τους.

Ένα λάθος πρόσωπο
Χωρίς όνομα και ιστορία,
Άδειο περιεχόμενο,
Κενό και αδιάφορο.
Σαν μιας πουτάνας τρύπιο φόρεμα
Επιπλέει στα θολά νερά του νεωρίου.

Μάτια θαλάσσιες ανεμώνες,
Αλλά χωρίς να κοιτάζουν πουθενά,
Μία ακόμα ρομαντική ατάλαντη παρθένα που την εξέβρασε το κύμα.

Αλίμονο!
Μια λάθος κίνηση στο σκάκι αποδείχτηκε τόσο μοιραία...

Τώρα, όμως, που οι σκιές κοιμούνται,
Βγαίνω σιγά σιγά και αναπνέω λιγοστά,
Ζαλισμένη από τον έρωτα που νιώθω για εσένα.

Ανεβαίνω τα σκαλιά
Και σχεδιάζω

A wrong face
With no name or history,
Empty content,
Void and indifferent.
Like a whore’s hole-ridden dress
Floating on the dull waters of the shipyard.

Sea-anemone eyes,
Without looking at any direction though,
Yet another romantic untalented virgin
The wave has cast ashore.

Alas!
A wrong chess move has proved to be so fatal...

But now that the shadows are asleep,
I come out slowly and barely breathing,
Light-headed by the love I feel for you.

I go up the stairs
And come up with
(Through a clumsy teen lovestruck mind)
All the fairy tales I’ll tell you
When you decide to come back for me.
